The International Boat Show Season Continues: October and November 2026
Boat and Yacht Shows in October and November 2026
Insight: From major yacht exhibitions to specialist marine technology events, the international boating calendar remains busy throughout autumn.
Following the major September shows in Cannes, Southampton and Monaco, the international marine industry moves into another busy period, with exhibitions across Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.
October opened with the Genoa International Boat Show in Italy, followed by the Barcelona International Boat Show from 14β18 October. Barcelona brings together motor yachts, sailing yachts, catamarans and marine equipment, with an expanded focus on on-water experiences.
The Biograd Boat Show in Croatia follows from 21β25 October, reflecting the importance of the Adriatic boating market, including charter operations, boat sales and regional marine services.
One of the season’s major highlights is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, running from 28 October to 1 November. Recognised as the world’s largest in-water boat show, it brings together superyachts, sportfishing boats, performance vessels, marine technology and equipment. The show is particularly important for manufacturers seeking access to the North American market.
November brings a different geographical focus.
The Qatar Boat Show takes place from 4β7 November in Doha, while the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show follows from 19β22 November. Both reflect the growing importance of the Gulf region for luxury boating, marine infrastructure and international yacht brands.
In Europe, METSTRADE in Amsterdam, from 17β19 November, is particularly significant for the marine equipment and technology sectors. Unlike consumer-focused boat shows, it provides a business-to-business environment for equipment manufacturers, boatbuilders, distributors, designers and technology developers.
The Paris Nautic Show, scheduled for 25β29 November, brings attention back to the French recreational boating market.
Different shows, different opportunities.
For boatbuilders, equipment suppliers and emerging technology companies, selecting the right exhibitions is becoming increasingly important. A large consumer yacht show may generate visibility and customer enquiries, while a specialist trade exhibition can provide access to boatbuilders, integration partners and international distribution networks.
With exhibitions spread across several continents, the challenge is no longer simply deciding whether to participate, but identifying where the greatest commercial value can be achieved.
The autumn calendar demonstrates both the international reach and diversity of today’s marine industry, from recreational boating and superyachts to advanced equipment, manufacturing and new technologies.
