Cannes Yachting Festival 2026: More Than 660 Boats Set for the Riviera

The Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 is set to bring more than 660 boats to the French Riviera, underlining the scale and breadth of one of Europe’s most important in-water boating events.

According to the festival’s current product listings, 665 boats are represented, with 621 listed as new boats and just 31 as brokerage vessels. The figures show a particularly strong concentration in the core 10-to-20-metre market, alongside a substantial fleet of larger yachts.

The largest individual category is 10 to 15 metres, with 236 boats, followed by 15 to 20 metres with 143. A further 73 boats fall between 20 and 25 metres, while 36 are in the 25-to-30-metre category. At the smaller end, Cannes lists 80 boats between 5 and 10 metres and 22 below 5 metres.

This distribution makes Cannes particularly interesting as a view of the wider recreational marine market rather than simply a showcase for superyachts. Visitors can move from relatively compact production boats and dayboats through performance craft and sailing yachts to substantial luxury motor yachts.

Motor boating remains the dominant sector. The exhibitor categories include 520 motor boat manufacturers and 131 sailing boat manufacturers. The show extends well beyond boatbuilders, however, with 430 exhibitors represented in nautical equipment and facilities, 50 in nautical services and 28 in brokerage and charter.

Technology and new product development will again form an important part of the event. 32 boats are currently identified as part of the Innovation Route, highlighting developments selected for their innovative characteristics.

The festival is spread principally between the Vieux Port and Port Canto, creating two major exhibition areas covering new yachts, sailing boats, brokerage, equipment and associated marine businesses.

With hundreds of new boats and a particularly deep selection between 10 and 20 metres, Cannes 2026 provides a useful snapshot of where the European leisure marine market is heading — from design and propulsion to onboard technology and changing expectations of what the next generation of boats should offer.
