Qatar Boat Show 2025: The Middle East’s Rising Hub of Global Yachting
The Middle East: a new epicentre of global yachting
The Qatar Boat Show 2025 is set to reaffirm the Middle East’s growing influence as a world-class yachting destination. Held from 5–8 November 2025 at the Old Doha Port, the event will gather the finest names in luxury yachting, design, and marine innovation. Following its successful debut in 2024, the show positions Qatar — and the wider Gulf region — at the center of a thriving maritime transformation.
The Middle East: a new epicentre of global yachting
Over the past decade, the Middle East has emerged as a strategic and cultural hub for the international yachting industry. With vast coastlines, ideal weather, and significant investment in maritime infrastructure, nations like Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia are building an ecosystem where yachting is both a luxury lifestyle and an expanding economic sector.
From the Dubai International Boat Show to the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show and now Doha’s flagship Qatar Boat Show, the region is weaving together a network of prestigious exhibitions that rival the glamour of Monaco and Cannes — all infused with a distinct Arabian touch.
Regional shipyards and global brands
The Gulf region is home to several prominent shipyards that embody its growing maritime ambitions. Among them, Gulf Craft Group and its renowned Majesty Yachts series (Stand SD-11) represent Emirati excellence in craftsmanship and innovation. Halul Boats (Stand GCC-01) and Milaha Shipyards (Stand YL-04) showcase Qatar’s own shipbuilding capabilities, combining technical precision with regional expertise.
The show also welcomes some of the most respected names in the global superyacht industry:
Benetti (Italy, Stand YL-10) – synonymous with Italian luxury and elegant, custom-built yachts.
Feadship (Netherlands, Stand YL-012) – world leader in bespoke superyacht design and Dutch engineering.
Oceanco (Netherlands, Stand YL-16) – pioneering in sustainability and avant-garde yacht construction.
Fraser Yachts (Global brokerage, Stands OD-02 & OD-02A) – presenting the magnificent PLVS VLTRA.
Sunreef Venture S.A. (Poland, Stand OD-03) – innovators in eco-friendly luxury catamarans.
Regional exhibitors like Al Shaali Marine (UAE, Stand OD-04) with its AS 100 Super Yacht, Golden Yacht Company (Qatar, Stand EQUP-41) with the Golden Palace House Boat 60FT, and V-Marine (Italy, Stand OD-15) with the Rise 70 further illustrate the diversity and ambition of the maritime sector in the region.
A showcase of vision and ambition
With over 95 yachts on display and nearly 500 international brands participating, Qatar Boat Show 2025 is more than an exhibition — it’s a statement of intent. Qatar’s investment in marina developments, waterfront infrastructure, and free-zone opportunities underscores its goal of becoming a leading yachting and maritime hub in the Middle East.
As the Arabian Gulf embraces its maritime heritage with a modern, forward-looking vision, the Qatar Boat Show symbolizes that transformation — where craftsmanship meets innovation, and where the region’s big ambitions set sail on a global stage.
